Michael Crawford is a world-class musician who has played the trombone for over 20 years with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, The London Chamber Orchestra, London Philharmonic Chorus, English Chamber Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also a composer whose works have been performed by many of the world's great orchestras including the Budapest, Vienna and Prague symphonies, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London), Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Danish National Symphony Orchestra to name but a few. His music has been broadcast on radio and television in many countries. He has also written music for commercials for companies such as Coca-Cola, Tetley Tea and Nissan. He was also musical director for Disney's "Hercules", which premiered at the famous Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Michael has conducted several Hollywood film soundtracks as well as orchestrating musical numbers for many international films including "The Lion King", "The Mummy" and "Beauty & The Beast".
Most recently he was music director for Disney's new animated feature film "UP" (2009).
